So yesterday I received two brand new pretty and shiny Boomerangs in the mail from Colorado Boomerangs. They are way cool. One of them even came complete with a gay paint job. What? Don't believe me? Ask the Rev and Abe. I believe the Rev. said "yeah, that's pretty gay man." Which Abe followed with a hearty "It's so YOU bud." Picture this, Pink and Purple (the Barbie ones) with silver shiny tiger stripe thingies. When you throw it - you see purple as it flies away from you. As it starts to process and come back it turns pink in the ark, and then is a nice dark purple again so you can see it and catch it. GAY! I'm so happy!
The other one needs a new paint job. I want to paint a rainbow on it in circles. This is because it is a tri-blade and should make a pretty rainbow circle in the air as it flies. Linus decided a while ago that due to my catching form a good "girlie" or "rainbow" paint job on all of my 'rangs could make a great gimmick. Today Abra confirmed that by saying that "it's my idiom." I wanted to retort "I am not, what's an idiom," but I had to go fetch a poorly thrown 'rang before I forgot where it went.
After several nice catches and today's "closest to the pin" award, I am very excited about the fact that I have this thing to do every other morning or so. It gets me out of bed and out of the house at hours my father would deem 'respectable.' Besides that, it is sooooooo much fun! (since none of you know my father, I feel it important to impart that this is a joke between he and I. My daddy is very proud of me and doesn't really care when I get out of bed.)
The moral of today's fairy tale (fairy tale cus I told it) - get your ass up, get your ass moving, and do something WAY too early in the morning. Be out of the house at the time you are normally waking up. You will be glad you did!
